Title: Direct New BusinessID: SAL00006844DescriptionThe primary purpose of the role is to work with the Prospector function to acquire and onboard new customers. The function will also source and develop new business from existing customers and work closely with the Direct Account Managers to ensure a co-ordinated client hand off procedure.The New Business Executive will also participate in campaigns utilising outbound calls, email and other channels to develop new business channels within Direct.Major Responsibilities / AccountabilitiesThe major responsibilites are to deliver new recurring product sales (take a pro-active lead role in running sales campaigns, cold calling), generates high number of new opportunities, ensures the effective handover of accounts to the account manager, provides feedback from the customer to segments/channels and vice versa, builds knowledge of competition, maintains accurate customer contact and opportunity data in TRUST, sets up trial of products, closes sales over the telephone. Collects and promptly handles in-bound leads.Scope and ImpactSelling set of products to a pre-defined market segment, possibly in a predefined territory. Executing sales campaigns across countries (within one region). Can have a new sales target for a set of products or accounts portfolio. Sells into medium to high complex customer environments.QualificationsTechnical /Professional Skills & CompetenciesClient perspective: Thorough understanding of TRM products. Understanding of financial markets our customers operate in (investment and trading focus). Solid PresentationSkillsAbility to execute TRM Sale process.Service Orientation : Ability to provide clients with the best customer experience as possible via best practice and 'client first' interactions.Financial Markets Knowledge :To understand our various client segments and have the ability to speak to various types of financial market or corporate players in order to sell TRM products and services that suit client requirements.Sales Skills: Strong sales skills in terms of leading the potential customer from the initial phase to close. Overcoming objections and maintaining a high client focus.Relationships: Internal / ExternalAccount teams (service, support, training), sales management, marketing/product management.Certifications / EducationBachelors Degree In Business Administration , FinanceProfessional ExperienceExperience in commissioned based sales preferably in a remote sales channel or financial services environment or experience in a broker/consultative sales capacity supporting financial markers.
